A Live music venue is transformed into a hugely successful restaurant
The Consolidated Group redeveloped the live music venue, the Marquee Club, and turned it into Europe’s largest restaurant. Originally called Mezzo, part of Sir Terrance Conran’s empire, the operation had one of the highest turnovers of any restaurant or club in Europe. The venue is now the chic and very Successful Cuban bar and restaurant, Floridita. The original development also included the creation of ground-breaking loft apartments which achieved record selling prices for their time.
